That’s our car. We had a big family gathering in a rented house in Sweden last week. Then, it snowed. Bloody Sweden. The night before we had to go home, so we didn’t even get to play in it, only drive in it, and naturally, we hadn’t changed tyres yet or anything, plus the car was heavily loaded in the back, and it has “forwheel drive”, or whatever it’s called, so yeah, about ten minutes after we’d left the house, we nonchalantly skidded off of the road, right over the shoulder and straight into the ditch *_*
And almost every single freaking Swede stopped and asked us if we were all right and if we were getting help and stuff - goddamnit, they were probably lol’ing in their heads, thinking: “First snow of the winter, and the incompetent Danes immediately head into the ditch, lol”
*facepalm*
Actually we saw several cars in similar circumstances as we drove on, and no they were not other Danish tourists xD So Swedes were also having trouble. Doesn’t mean they’re forgiven though. Snow in October. How rude D=

I presume everyone’s familiar with this dancing lady here, you know, if you see her spinning clockwise the right side of your brain is “dominant” or whatever, and vice versa. Also, it’s interesting to see how fast you can get her to spin the other way round - not everyone can actually get her to change direction, idk, I always found it fairly easy, especially once you get a hang of it, the first time it can be challenging.
Anyway. I adore her because it’s fun to find out stuff about your brain, or at least I think so, and, more importantly, because she provides me with an excuse for not being the brightest of minds when it comes to math and science, since she always spins clockwise when I first look at her - I can’t help it if I’m ruled by emotions and my scary imagination, that’s just my brain D:
The Daily Telegraph ( link: http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/wacky/the-right-brain-vs-left-brain/story-e6frev20-1111114577583 ) claims that most people see her spinning counter clockwise. That might be true where the “real” world is concerned. Personally I believe most ppl here on Tumblr, clara-a, and nearly all participants in the many fandoms that I’m part of, are emotional possibilty-presenters with SCARY imaginations ;D
